@t2neZu Typical galbozo tweet. The number of old or new cards in a deck is irrelevant. The playstyle and general feel of a deck is what constitutes it's soul and what compels you to like it. FK is a great example, mostly new cards but still keeps the soul and playstyle.

@iDomNYC Did both of these hypothetical players enter the same number of Evos? If so that'd make player B better overall imo. 40% wr and 60% top-2 means consistent greatness. 60% wr and 40% DNF is too much variance. I think consistency is more important than just wins.

Player A: Wins 6 Evos Player B: Wins 4 Evos but gets 2nd 6 times. Who is better? (For sake of argument if they didn't get Evo grands, they drowned in pools)

I remember when I went to do a trade in to get a white OLED switch at GameStop. The employee came out and gave me a splatoon one. I said that’s not what I wanted. He said it didn’t matter and held more value than a regular white OLED because I could keep it in the box and sell it after a few years. I told him I still didn’t want it, I wanted the switch I drove over an hour to get (I called before hand and they said they had a white OLED in stock). Dude refused to refund me, and when I was doing my trade in was bashing me for the games I had been playing (animal crossing, Fire Emblem, etc). I don’t want to spend hundreds on a game system and then never touch it, that’s the dumbest shit I’ve heard.

@PrefaceGrim Idr the exact timeline but I think her being a gamer was added later. She was always depicted as a tech savvy data-oriented runner in earlier appearances and her being a gamer was like a natural extention of those traits which they wrote in later.

Someone just reminded me that they removed Shakur's tattoo from her concept art, and her gamer personality from the anime. I had completely forgotten about that.
