Dad Charged After Baby Boy Suffered More Than 30 Fractures. A 36-year-old man from Nashua, New Hampshire, landed behind bars without bail after police say he caused dozens of broken bones in his three-month-old son by squeezing the infant to stop the crying. Drew Babcock faces eight counts of first-degree assault with a domestic violence tag, according to the Nashua Police Department. Officers arrested him on March 13th after getting a tip from child welfare officials about the baby's serious injuries. The problems surfaced when the little boy's grandmother brought him to Lakes Region General Hospital complaining of cold symptoms. Doctors spotted more than 30 fractures, breaks in both legs and the collarbone, plus bruises that led to fluid buildup in the lungs. The child also wasn't gaining weight like he should, records show. Investigators say the damage built up over roughly two months, starting around the time the boy turned one month old. Babcock allegedly admitted to detectives that the baby's colic would set him off and he'd apply pressure to the back, ribs and stomach area two or three times a week. Prosecutors laid out those details at Babcock's arraignment in Nashua District Court on March 16th. The judge kept him locked up, calling him a danger to the community. The baby remains in the hospital for now, though his injuries aren't considered life-threatening.

The autopsy found zero food in her stomach, and her body was so dehydrated her eyes had sunken into her skull. And the cruelty didn’t stop there. The house was stocked with food. Boxes were stacked right outside the door he locked her behind. Investigators say Buskey even reinforced the lock with tape after Charlotte figured out how to open it. His 3-year-old son was found alive but severely malnourished—kept in a makeshift cage in the dining room. Both children tested positive for cocaine. Meanwhile, it sure doesn’t look like HE skipped any meals while his children starved to death behind a locked door. Buskey now faces 27 years to life, with sentencing scheduled for March 27, 2026. How does a grown man cage his own kids, starve a 5-year-old to death, and still only face 27 years to life? What kind of monster does that to their own children? 💔
