That short #HarryPotter doc was all I needed to see to know this show is going to be BEAUTIFUL. I need like 15 hours of that. Trolls on twitter can’t take away the heart and care that the thousands of people working on this series clearly have for the Wizarding World and its legacy. That’s why little documentaries like this matter. Damn near brought a tear to my eye.

Philosopher’s Stone is a small book. 8 episodes is plenty to cover it. They will run into trouble though once they get to Goblet of Fire on. 8 episodes won’t be enough.

Clearly the haters on this app are louder than the true Harry Potter fans. There is 0% chance that any haters watched this documentary, this is number 1 because of the people who are actually excited for the show.

And as he’s not book accurate then he gets fast forwarded. If the rest of the series is pretty accurate to the book, then I have lost nothing.

@SitoCinema Haven’t seen either show to YET . To say whether or not Bella was a good choice for Ellie and Hp series hasn’t aired yet to say Paapa was bad casting for Snape

And if it doesn’t do well after the first couple of seasons, they will blame it on the obvious. It’s called victimization they want their agenda put out and if you don’t like it…….

@KiyBestrange @vinas_federico @MovieFlameProd Oh, you actually think they’re not gonna go the racial route. Lol the whole point of casting him the way they did was to bring that to the forefront of the series. It was a deliberate casting choice for this character.

And at one point Lily and he were friends and only really ended when he called her a mud blood. I really don’t see the story changing

@KiyBestrange @vinas_federico @MovieFlameProd Very, now there are forced racial implications to the marauders, Lily, the trio, and frankly everyone at the school that doesn’t like Snape because he seems to be a villain. And that’s just for starters. The poor kid from a bad upbringing is now Black.

@KiyBestrange @vinas_federico @MovieFlameProd Well, I disagree completely. Fast forwarding the miscast’s scenes is a reasonable way to get the talent of the story. However, as it is no longer going to be from Harry’s point of view, They also torpedoed that narrative.

@KiyBestrange @MovieFlameProd Yes I agree. I wish the internet was not as trollish but that is the reality of our world and everyone's choices has consequences, including HBO's. I want the show to succeed. But I think the best way for me to enjoy it is going to be logging off until christmas lol.

@KiyBestrange @MovieFlameProd I said there were racist trolls for sure. But HBO should be criticized as well for casting a black man largely to stir up internet controversy for publicity. I know this is what HBO did, because 98% of the rest of the cast is book accurate.
