Why is a State government permanently controlling Hindu temples through bureaucracy while churches and mosques remain independently administered? Why should bureaucrats decide how Hindu temples, temple lands and temple wealth are managed? Hindu temples should be run through independent Hindu temple boards, transparent audits, protection of temple assets and administration rooted in the Hindu community itself. AUTONOMY. TRANSPARENCY. Hindu CONTROL. Not political management of sacred institutions.
