***Please Read*** Here's how the propaganda machine works. This played out today in real time. This is a huge issue in Canada today. 1) Poilievre posts the attached, and references claims in the queue, not funded and approved cases, but those in the queue. 2) Michelle Rempel Garner the quotes this, and turns the 291k claims into "people in hotels via the tax payer." A flat out lie. The truth is it's less than 500 and the program is winding down. 3) RW Twitter posts the outrageous claims as facts and piles on to weaponize these lies and attack immigration. 4) Fueled by this, the next layer is bigoted attacks. We see the seed Poilievre planted, fertilized by Garner now turns into lies, misinformation, and attacks. RW Twitter doesn't question the facts, doesn't check the data, and instead insults those that dare to show the truth. This happens again and again, day after day.
