Hey @bram_bos, this is how the Phasemaker UI appears in Garage Band and @KlimperApp. When i open (request) the view a second time, it's scaled correctly. Seems to happen on devices with [UIScreen mainScreen].scale == 3 like iPhone X and possibly the + models. Kind regards, Tobi

@j_liljedahl Ultimately, it‘s the base class that should be fixed. My argument is that assuming there are more plugins than hosts, implementing a workaround in the host maybe the most practical way to quickly ensure a consistent user experience.

@KlimperApp No, it’s the plugin that should fall back to fullState if needed. The host shouldn’t have to keep track of which plugins use which, by getting the state and see if it’s empty.

Hi AUv3 plugin developers. The .h says about `fullStateForDocument` that "Hosts saving documents should use this property. If the audio unit does not implement it, the base class simply sets/gets fullState." That seems to be a lie, however. You have to add that forward yourself!
