Such an important transition time and topic. What if we asked ourselves "When have you not spoken up when you should have?" as a way to clarify values/character strengths as we address our own distress. @MCW_Kern @mmteacherdoc #facultydiversity @alimharrington #Tweetorial

With all of the changes in #meded, need to act and address #structuralracism - it also means we need to think about how it impacts our individual roles & relationships. Consider these 4 elements of transitions #tweetorial @KMarcdante #MedEdChat @PDX_Tom @2LindaMLove @MedEdNext

Dont think about educ and healthcare as goods but as services. Then, by definition they must be coproduced. Can't educate as goods focused, expect to excel as service providers. Holmboe & Englander #AAMC18 #boedudley

@PDX_Tom T3: absolutely! Also need to consider aligning the needs/expectations of the person seeking and the person giving guidance. #meded. Thanks for a wonderful chat!

@USFIMres @MedEdChat T3: Always an important issue - a mentor would hopefully limit the number of mentees. Of course they need to be coached to say no then :) #meded

T3 in what circumstances would an institution define success of a mentoring/advising/coaching relationship instead of the participants? #meded
