Schools are running multimedia departments as standalone operations to support college athletes. Very smart, and very creative.
This is the next phase in the arms race.
First, it was NIL and rev-share dollars “here’s how much we can pay you.”
Now, it’s “this is how we’ll market you and align you with our brand partners and others.”

Fair. My point was developing a small guard to be a primary scorer is a disservice to the guard.
We used to teach point guards to create offense for others. How to play.
Now we teach kids to be volume scorers and wonder why they don’t play as freshman.

When teams zone you, as an offensive coach you now get to determine who guards who.
You can manipulate your best offensive weapons into areas being defended by their worst defensive players.
PaPa Neighbors called it “hunting the weak antelope”
This has been a go-to action we have used at every level.
It’s called PUNCH. The hand signal is “make a punching” action.
Never cared if opponent “knew the play” or that we were calling it.

Dang. BC WBB is such a tough gig. I thought their staff did great job evaluating. Retention was the challenge. Some great coaches in the Ivy but I don't think this is the gig to take. Columbia, Princeton types way better
