Kirkbymoorside Community Primary School

The children have been enjoying visits to the local library in Kirkbymoorside this week, everyone has been able to borrow a book and see the great range of books on offer.

The children had great fun on their TT Rockstars day and we raised £1160. Thank you so much!

Congratulations to our competition winners who will have their designs made into Christmas Cards to be sold in The Gallery at Kirkbymoorside. Money, from the sale of the Christmas cards, will go to Friends of School.

The children loved their Ancient Greek Day and are very excited to learn more about their new topic!

The Great Fire of London/Kirkby! We set fire to the houses today to recreate the Great Fire of London. Luckily the fire brigade were on hand and the blaze lasted 4 minutes not days!

The year 6 play leaders have been doing a fantastic job helping others and ensuring everyone has a fantastic break time.

Well done to our Year 6 children who gave a fantastic performance of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

Thank you so much to the Friends of Kirkbymoorside who paid for all of the children to go on a trip to Dalby Forest and experience GoApe. The children had a wonderful time and made us so proud because of the amount of care, kindness and support they showed each other.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for sports day last week, the children were fantastic and had lots of fun! Well done to Team Oak- who were the winners!
