@KneeReplacement I’m tentatively scheduled for PKR on the 15. Wish it wasn’t necessary but it’s painful and swollen every day

Walked a couple miles with a few minutes of running here n there. My neighborhood is expanding out where the coyotes live. We enjoy walking and riding our bikes to watch the transformation. I’m loving ‘retired’ life. Mondays are for exploring. Still waiting on the new knee🙌🏼

@TuffyThePooh @Airrosti There are some standing stretches that might be useful. I agree that you don't want any pressure on that area. Even if you could tolerate that, it's just not useful.

@KneeReplacement I was doing some when @Airrosti was caring for me. I will look back into it but it hurts to roll on it. Can’t even let doc touch the area

Good/bad news. G: hip is a bad case of bursitis/tendonitis. B: kneecap is bone to bone w/arthritis on inner knee, so will need a partial knee replacement and maybe a TKR. Poor genes, bad luck plus over 50 years of constant impact fitness. Feeling doomed but okay. Great Ortho!

@TuffyThePooh Have you tried IT band stretches? That may relieve some of the pressure on the bursa.

@KneeReplacement He offered to remove the bursa sac later if it continues. It’s been an issue for several years but the last 6 months have been hell. I wake up crying every day…

Good Morning World, It is 05.51 here in Darwin, Australia. The sun is rising to welcome Monday of 18/10/2021. May this be a great day for one and all. For me, it is an anxious time. Going to the Hospital to give blood for tests, group&hold, right knee replacement surgery tomorrow
