@Arifromanhattan Some people will always find something negative to say. Playoffs are always tough grind it out.

@JCMacriNBA This is a depressing watch along. Rough start. But not a reason to throw the game away already

@SbondyNBA He is one of if not the only one that can create his own shot. But teams also know he will get the ball and go iso in the last few mins. Likely attract a double team, if he doesn’t have a good shot all we are saying is pass.

I'm seeing some discourse on this app about Jalen Brunson taking too many shots and that's coming from people who either don't watch the games or have no memory or just gargle and spit basketballreference stats.
Against good teams -- who tend to be more motivated on defense with better individual defenders, who don't allow as many transition attempts and (surprise, surprise) tend to have a better record against the Knicks -- he's very often the only Knick who can create his own shot in the halfcourt. It's a dead end when others try and guess who has to bail them out? On top of that, the idea that the best player in the clutch for the last two years -- who was the best and most clutch player in series against the Cavs, Heat, Sixers, Pistons and Celtics -- should give up the ball in crunch time is very much a losing idea. Did he miss shots against the Pacers? Yes. Is he still the best option to win that game? Absolutely.
