There hasn't been any further carbon dating mainly because it’s destructive and the Shroud is extremely fragile, so the custodians are reluctant to cut new samples from it. On top of that, researchers are split on whether repeating the same kind of test would even add much value given newer, less invasive methods are now available.

No. It's a known fraud.

Too bad, the 1988 carbon dating was flawed. They sampled a medieval repair corner, invisible reweaving with different cotton & dyes, not the main shroud. Later analysis showed the lab results weren't consistent, and other evidence points to 1st century origin. It's been heavily challenged, not settled.

Sorry, but the claim the Shroud of Turin was made with a medieval photograph using silver solutions does not hold up. STURP’s 1978 analysis found no silver, photographic chemicals, pigments, or dyes, only a superficial discoloration on the top 0.2 microns of the fibers with no brush strokes or directionality. Nicolas Allen’s camera obscura replicas also fail to match the real Shroud. They contain lighting artifacts, distorted 3D data, visible outlines, and far less detail. Meanwhile, the actual Shroud contains real pre image bloodstains, AB blood, and that same AB type reportedly appears in studies tied to Eucharistic miracles and the Sudarium of Oviedo. How exactly were people centuries ago supposed to fake matching blood evidence before blood types or DNA analysis even existed? Add in the precise 3D body information and Jerusalem area pollen, and this remains a compelling scientific mystery, not a debunked forgery. So do you have actual evidence, or is that the best you’ve got?

I'd say the evidence is pretty clear. The most devout Muslims, those closest to core Islamic texts, are the most supportive of strict Sharia, jihad, and orthodoxy. The moderates are usually cultural Muslims with looser commitment. Their Imams are the ones actively pushing these extremist views from mosques and teachings. Speaking out against extremism means directly challenging the Imams and Islamic sources themselves. In Muslim countries, that risks prison, exile, or death for blasphemy/apostasy. Even in the West, it brings death threats, family ostracism, and community violence. The quiet majority isn’t secretly reformist, they’re mostly apathetic or intimidated. Real change is rare because it requires rejecting the fundamentals, not just the extremists.

Your lack of understanding of the Catholic and Othordox view is truly baffling. We dont believe our works save us, we believe that a living, genuine faith necessarily inspires works of obedience, charity, a sincere effort to sin no more, genuine sorrow and repentance when we do fall. Not that any works will open that gates of Heaven for us, that is through the Mercy and Grace of Jesus alone.

This is often how Catholics/Orthodox respond as soon as we say "Our obedience doesn't save us, Jesus does." They think obedience not saving us = not important. To the contrary, obeying is important, it just has no part in getting us to heaven. What Jesus did is enough.

Classic taqiyya. We do not worship the same God. The God of the Bible is the Father who sent His eternal Son Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins and rose again. Your Allah explicitly denies the crucifixion (Quran 4:157), denies Jesus is the Son of God, and denies the Trinity. The Quran claims to confirm the Torah and Gospel… then contradicts them on almost every major point. It says God’s words cannot be corrupted, yet Muslims scream 'Bible corrupted!' whenever it disagrees with Muhammad. All while saying the word of God cannot be corrupted. The Bible is clear: 'Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son' (1 John 2:22). The God you worship is not the same. You worship Satan, the deceiver — not the Father of all creation."

Jews call Him Yahweh. Christians call Him Jehovah. Muslims call Him Allah. Language doesn’t change His name. We all worship the same God. 💯

Imagine getting hit with DNA, fine-tuning, Cambrian Explosion, irreducible machines, Big Bang origin + more… and your best response is “God still isn’t real though.” Atheists swear atheism isn’t a religion 😆 yet that’s pure faith based denial. Luke 1:42 — Elizabeth praises the unborn Christ child. "Holy Mary, Mother of God," Luke 1:43 — Elizabeth calls Mary "the mother of my Lord" (Kyrios/God). "pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death." James 5:16 — Scripture commands believers to pray and intercede for one another.

Why pray to a literal human when you can pray to the God of the universe the way Christ instructed us?
