To clarify, FLOW references, respectfully, Mihaly #Csikszentmihalyi's work which explores the state of mind connected with profound #engagement in one's work. We know that state, and hope partner with others who do.

Today we came up with FLOW: a loosely-relevant acronym for the #advantages of our unique approach to #smarttextile #production. F (#flexibility) L (#largearea or #lowcost) O (#overengineered) W (#wireknitted). #FLOW.

An exciting couple of conversations this week with @DonradDuncan re the possibilities for smart textiles and anti-viral copper fabrics in the medical sector. Thank you @DonradDuncan and Michele Marsilli for introducing us.

For fans of the old @plugandwear we've brought the old #onlinestore back to our current website, along with a couple of other improvements including a #markets page which suggests where #smarttextiles and #textilesensors might find applications in six different domains.

Work starts this month on our first #polyvalent #fabricsensor in which we'll integrate #temperature and #galvanic skin response (#GSR).

It seems raw #copper, our preferred material for #knittedelectronics given its high ductility and conductivity, is particularly hostile to #COVIDー19

Quoting from a #NEJM letter to the editor dated Apr 2020 (nejm.org/doi/full/10.10…) “On #copper, no viable #SARS-CoV-2 was measured after 4 hours and no viable SARS-CoV-1 was measured after 8 hours.”
