I love it when a plan comes together! Using a new structure, 6th grade MLs successfully cooperated in pairs to annotate key ideas in a multi-paragraph text. A chorus of reading and rich conversation was music to my ears while I waited for them to “Send One” partner for support.

Yesterday was a great DLD! A huge thank you to all the presenters and facilitators. Here are two amazing Region 4 ELL teachers leading fabulous sessions on they use @ImagineLearning and @HeggertyPA to ensure student growth and achievement! Thank you Shirley and Kristina!

ELL unit preparation protocol and other teacher-led sessions offered opportunities for collaboration and curriculum internalization during KCS district learning day!

It might be the Wednesday before fall break, but student engagement and learning has not slowed down at @KnoxCentralHS. ELL classes of all proficiency levels were building language through content. @CWhite_KCS @CHSRutig @KCS_ELL
