@BrettGB12 @Peter_Bukowski I don't believe so, from my understanding teams can still "pass" a player that fails if they really want them. My guess is the Ravens expected him to fail, but still pass him, but he failed much more severely than they expected and it spooked them.

The Cowboys could end up backing out of the Gary deal to get Crosby which would be doubly wild. Technically the Gary trade hasn’t happened yet either.

So the Cowboys missed out on Maxx Crosby, traded for Rashan Gary instead, and now have financially boxed themselves out of trading for Crosby when he's available again.
