We must not pretend that all is well. The delay in the declaration of results by the EC, the political parties' incitement of their supporters to mass up at the collation centres and the violence we have seen do not portend well for our election. If this had been a close contest, the nation might have erupted in flames. Let's not go to sleep over these concerns. The Electoral Commission Ghana must revise its protocols. Any EC constituency office that declares and certifies its results should be able to fax them to the EC headquarters without the needless hold-up at the regional EC office until all the constituencies in the region are completed. All is not well, and we must not pretend as such. #Election2024
