I welcome the adoption of the General Assembly resolution on the @CIJ_ICJ's advisory opinion on climate change – a powerful affirmation of international law, climate justice, science & the responsibility of states to protect people from the escalating climate crisis. Those least responsible for climate change are paying the highest price. That injustice must end.

Even Dangote, the richest man in Africa needs more visas across Africa than a Western tourist! Rwanda’s visa-free policy for Africans is already paying off, prompting more African countries to join the shift.

A Congolese man died in Dublin on Friday after he was restrained by several security guards in an alleged shoplifting incident – prompting widespread anger and calls for justice. Video of the incident showed several guards on top of Yves Sakila, 35, in Dublin city centre as he cried out in distress. At one point, a guard appears to kneel on his head or neck. He later appears to become unresponsive. Police are investigating. The footage has prompted comparisons with the 2020 killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Local community members held a vigil on Tuesday, chanting “justice for Yves”. The Irish Council for Civil Liberties is demanding that the death be “swiftly, thoroughly and transparently investigated”.

#Togo #Afrique #integration #Libre #panafricanism #voyage #cooperation

@PolitlcsUK Pride and ego. I said, most Brexiters now know and understand how terrible and short-sighted it was but won't admit it. EU must be smiling, this is a lesson to all members that had any plans of exiting
