I am honored and thrilled that Nuclear Decisions has been named the co-winner of the Robert Jervis Best International Security Book Award for 2023. It's deeply meaningful to me to receive an award named for the late Robert Jervis.

I’m excited to share a new publication co-authored with @lachlanmckn on how Russian technological assistance to North Korea could potentially bolster the development of its nuclear program. Read here👇

Russia’s growing technological assistance has the potential to bolster North Korea’s development of ICBMs and SLBMs, nuclear-powered submarines, and low yield nuclear weapons. buff.ly/qK0qcTa

Highly honoured to receive one of ISA’s key awards, the International Security Section's Distinguished Scholar Award for 2025 at the annual convention in Chicago. It was fantastic to hear my fellow travellers from many schools and students, both current and former, making heart-warming statements. Thank you everyone.

Thank you @Koch_LL for sharing your research with us on nuclear threats. In our latest Wednesday Seminar, Lisa asks, “When leaders issue nuclear threats, how are those threats perceived?” She continues to talk about the spectrum of credibility on which these threats may fall and the reactions they inspire.

Grateful for this very kind review of my book by @Hbounassif, whose own book deeply inspired mine: "Solidly grounded in firsthand research, Grewal's work is also comparative and theoretically inclined... a welcome addition...and a must-read" muse.jhu.edu/pub/119/articl…

I am really pleased that the Stanton Foundation has awarded me a grant to work on a project entitled, "U.S. Alliance Dynamics and Nuclear Command and Control Infrastructure." Expect to see work from me in the coming time on the politics of basing NC3 abroad during the Cold War.
