I’m tired of the idea that Muslims are new to Europe. That’s not true. Countries like Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Montenegro have long-established Muslim communities. Even Türkiye has millions of Muslims living in its European region. Islam has been part of Europe for centuries, not just through recent immigration.
