I promise you the Halo community felt the exact same way. They felt abandoned too, and when Destiny 1 launched in the state it did, people were pissed. If they got their way back then, we probably never would’ve even made it to Destiny 2.

Creators need to understand the influence they have. I too am pissed and sad about the entire D2 situation but the frustration you put out is amplified to an unhealthy level through your audience. These are Marathon developer's jobs you're playing with. It's not their fault.

@trulyyblu If you want d3 then play marathon so they can make it. Boycotting their new thing is going to make the thing die. Wanting d3 and hoping bungie dies is like riding a bus and hoping the driver crashes.

Me and my buddies were going to check out season 2 of Marathon but... things are different now after Sony and Bungie announced no more support for Destiny. We just can't.

If & when Destiny 3 is green-lit, get the PC build off Steam entirely & consider a standalone launcher.
A game like Destiny that moves millions to ‘tens’ of millions of dollars at a time losing 30% of its top-end is disastrous for the financial overhead it would cost to sustain the game; we’re talking full years of developer salaries lost instantly time after time with no end.
With PC now mimicking console player counts & only growing, a standalone launcher would absolve the publishing fee of external platforms while also allowing the migration of Destiny 2 & (god-willing) a D1 PC port - all merged into 1 direct launcher for PC players to pull from.
It’s a win-win for all.

I've been playing this game since the first beta in 2014 yes ive rather negative in the last year but it doesn't change the impact this game has had on me mad some great friends and made great memory's i do hope that as the door closes on d2 a new door opens for something new

Infinite warfare was actually so good of a game and I will DIE on that hill.
