Idk if it’s headcanon but the main reason I liked these movies is bc they felt like they were making a point to be inspiring for new artists. The emphasis on the art style n miles being an artist himself with drawing and making music. The statement of the graffiti. The “do my own thing” thing

Most art "talent" is just 10k+ hours of ugly warmup doodles and practice sheets that nobody sees, but potentially artistic individuals would rather doompost "i'm just not creative", "oh I wish I could draw", and doomscroll instead of sitting down for 30 minutes a day and accepting their sketchbook will look and feel like a crime scene for the first two-three years (event less for those who are determined). No one's born with talent, an affinity maybe. But that affinity does nothing if you don't train it.
