@enidzilla @PrimeDarkseid Oh exactly I’m not saying it negatively I’m just adding to their point that this was their safest option as to potentially not lose Jason because you never know what Scott can and will do at any point. It’s unlikely but you never know what the future of the chapter is

DBD went the smartest route by going for the Jason Universe design because it means when the next F13 game comes out (it's being developed) they won't lose Jason like they did Michael since this Jason exists just to be licensed out to market Jason/F13.
They either went for this or risk another Michael scenario.

I desperately need people to stop using Multiversus as a point that Jason can get the same movie skins he has there… That game is owned by and meant to be a celebration of Warner Bros - Aka *THE half of Jason that DBD does NOT have access to* That’s the whole thing.

Different studios handle rights differently and with how the lawsuit affected the F13 game it's best for DBD to go the easy route and go for the design made specifically for licensing instead of possibly losing him in the future like they've done Pinhead, Michael and Demogorgon albeit temporarily.

my tinfoil hat theory from the livestream is that they hinted at an unknown comeback chapter with JULIAN as a new survivor! out of ALL the killers, they chose the one with similar found footage vibes!!! and julian is in the current tome lore!!! it just MAKES SENSE OK!?

@Yui_simp02 I love the Shadow Leviathan visually but I absolutely hated that crystal zone (I got lost so often) and it felt kinda lackluster since it’s so easy to avoid/escape. But it’s still one of the coolest creatures in the game

Jason seems extremely cool, especially for the tenth anniversary. But I feel like that's the bare minimum. This has been two insanely popular asked for IPs for the anniversary in a row with no survivor. I get we will probably have one midchapter, but it still feels bad.
