다만 이걸 난 부정적으로만 안 봄. 1세대부터 9세대까지 짐리더들 직업들 표현하는 걸 보면, 각 세대가 출시된 시기의 현대인들에게 가장 '친숙한' 직업인, 인간상임. 특히 최신의 8,9세대 시기엔 유튜버나 인플루언서가 제일 친숙한 인간상이라 그 세대의 현대인들에겐 더 가까운 느낌을 줌. 포켓몬 본가 게임에선 짐리더들이 비주기같은 특이케이스가 아니면 마을의 제일 '유명인'이거나 제일 '친숙한 사람' 이미지를 더 강조하잖아. 예시로 3세대때는 이 친숙함을 강조하는게 더한데, 첫번째 짐리더 원규는 호연지방 트레이너 학교의 '우등생 선배 학생'이고 두번째 격투 짐리더 철구는 'PT도 봐주는 헬스장 트레이너'인걸.
