3. The path this country is going down is completely unsustainable. We have SO much more in common with each other than social media algorithms & bad political actors want us to believe. We will fix NOTHING until we log off & come together. And autocracy ALWAYS makes things worse

Ending my hiatus to share a few thoughts. First on the A&M news and then a couple larger thoughts about America.
1. No group consistently embarrasses Texas A&M more than its Board of Regents. It’s pathetic.
2. And people wonder why our institutional alignment is a fucking joke.

Texas: 0-0
Georgia: 1-1
Tennessee: 1-2
Bama: 1-2
Ole Miss: 0-1
SCar: 0-0
A&M: 0-2
Mizzou: 0-1* (4:15 PM kick @ SCar)
The 3 wins are UGA over Texas, Bama over LSU, and Tennessee over OU.

How hard is it to win on the road in the SEC? The 7 SEC teams in the AP Top 25 are just 13-12 in true SEC road games this year. Texas and S. Carolina are the only teams in that group with a winning road record. Texas 2-0 S. Carolina 3-1 Georgia 2-2 Ole Miss 2-2 A&M 2-2 Vols 1-2 Bama 1-3

The depth of the SEC this year is ridiculous. At least half of the conference is a top 20 team.
South Carolina has been easily playing at the level of a top 10 team its last 4 games. Arkansas is roughly a top 30 team yet is probably the 10th/11th best team in the conference.

A little over 10 years ago, I stood in this room and had a meal that changed my life and showed me how truly amazing smoked meat could be.
Fast forward to today, and even with all the amazing BBQ restaurants opened since then (many because of Franklin), it still holds up 👏
