In Q4 2022 there were 3.2m unemployed people in Gauteng up 1.8m from Q4 2008. Unemployment rate was 39 4%. Panyaza 6000 jobs are 0.2% of the unemployed. We cant create jobs when there is austerity and SARB is hiking rates. GP does not have policy tools to address unemployment

Our criminal justice system is failing South Africans. This person is a property high jacker of note. When I was a mayor, GFIS got this guy arrested, and I personally went to court twice, asking for the courts not to grant him bail.

Today, I visited these young men and women who were unemployed and possibly angry 4 months ago, next week almost 4000 of them will police our streets to add in the fight against crime. A vision turning into reality always excites me big time! Best wishes to these young ones!
