@Nathan_26_ My biggest issue is not the lack of star power in the portal but more that they are banking on returning guys making HUGE leaps and I don't see that happening

@KonaPotts Certainly haven’t won the press conference. But last year’s team definitely did that and the season was a borderline disaster. Less on-paper talent right now, but I’m a bit more bullish on the roster construction IF they find shooting on the wing.

We’ll see how Boise State rounds out the roster (2-3 spots left), but right now this roster looks like a much higher ceiling defensively but is going to need a significant leap from returners in offensive creation.

@DownOnTheBlue Most money we have ever had to spend and we have a terribly underwhelming group to show for it. Getting either out bid or out recruited by schools like WSU in basketball is gross. Not a good trajectory for this program right now

I say this as a very big basketball fan. If this is the best we can do with increased NIL/Rev share budgets, just move that money to football. I really hope there are moves happening in the background.

Playing around with Bart Torvik's RosterCast, and based off Boise State's likely additions, the Broncos currently project 84th in Torvik. Boise State going to need massive development and/or big-time portal additions to look favorably in the early projections.

Expectation at BSU is winning against big programs and a QB that can put a team on his shoulders. He has done neither
