@tjteabaggins @secretlabchairs No I was leaning back and then all of a sudden it was stuck. So I had to jiggle the handle and then it jumped forward. And now it won't move at all it just stays there. It's pretty uncomfortable

To be 100% honest with you I could care less. If someone wants to go burn a flag or talk shit. Go for it I don't care. It sucks that there are rules in place or trying to be put in place preventing people from doing what they want to do. But me personally I could care less. It's childish. Growing up in this world I've had to live with a set of rules from the minute I popped out the womb. I've been walking that fine line my entire life. So to me what's a few more rules going to change anything. For me personally doesn't change anything, I'm not doing anything wrong. For those that it does affect, it's a shame that you can't do something that you want to do without a repercussion because of the government. But I'm not trying to argue with you sir. This is the most political I've spoken at all in all my life. I already regret it. Lol

Burning a flag, or any other relevant political protest, is not defamation, and not an incitement to violence. You need to put your personal sensibilities to the side here because they are not relevant. The government wants to jail people for political speech. This should worry you my dude. This is the most anti-american thing you can do.

You can disagree with flag burning, that's OK. But don't call yourself a patriot and pretend you love the constitution or respect the principles this country was founded on if you don't understand why our right to be able to burn the flag is our most important right.

To me it doesn't matter who the president is. Being a military member whoever the commander-in-Chief is I always have to abide by their words. This is getting into a territory that I personally didn't want to get to. I'm once again saying I understand where you are coming from. No one should be able to tell you what you can and can't do in America. However there are certain things that If you do they will have consequences. I'm out of Trump supporter I'm not an Obama supporter I'm not a Reagan supporter a Bush supporter. Because it doesn't matter to me who the president is. It's about doing what's right or what's wrong. You are simply saying it's wrong for them to put people in jail for freedom of speech even though the act that they are doing is defamation. You are feeling as though your rights are being attacked. And I understand that.

I wish you could see how obviously short-sighted your view on this is. You simply cannot fathom a situation where someone else decides that what YOU are saying is an incitement to violence or defamation, and wants to make it ILLEGAL. If Kamala became president and did all the bad things everyone was scared of, and you wanted to speak out against what she was doing, how would you feel if she made an executive order that made speaking out against her a form of defamation or an incitement of violence that was punishable by imprisonment? It's amazing how you don't realize you're limiting YOUR freedom of speech when you're OK with limiting others. This is North Korean behavior, the OPPOSITE of American.

I understand what you are saying. However, this freedom is not absolute and has certain well-defined exceptions, such as speech that incites violence or defamation. The freedom of speech is not being attacked from what I see. It's that portion that incites the violence and the defamation that's being enforced. And once again goes back to

The reason why this country is what it is, is because we have the freedom to say things that make people, and the government, feel uncomfortable. The only people who are soft here are those who can't handle a political statement. Let me ask you this: If this country declined further and further, for whatever reason, to a point where you were genuinely worried for its future, how would you feel if someone told you that you were only allowed to protest, speak out, or make symbols or statements, that someone else gets to decide are "government-approved"? Doesn't that sound a whole lot more like North Korea than the United States of America?
