VIDÉO - Deux Rémois partent en Californie pour la 19e édition des Championnats du monde de cartes Pokémon 👇 ➡️ l.ici.fr/Jkg

Now that all the Europeans have (unfortunately) finished the event, we have the final numbers regarding the 2025 World Championships invite. I have been keeping track of everything in a spreadsheet for the last couple of weeks/months, so let's take a look: -The invite threshold for Top125 is 694 CP, but with 12 players (@Ch0mp_Chomp_ , @AlbertoContiTCG , @TordReklev , @ptcgjamesc, @Ybarz1, @ThraeTFT, @OjvindSvinhufvu, @mrshaarni, Christian D'Onofrio, @SimoneFiorito17, @J_Wcon, SImon Tschan) that got their auto invite while still maintaining a spot in Top125 we're ending the season with a total of 137 Worlds Invite in the EU Masters division -Speaking of Top137, the threshold for that spot is at 680 CP, but with a five-way tie (Lewis Beck, Gauthier Vesseron, Finn Schleusner, Nerses Fatunz, and @JuliusKrag ) reaching from 136 to 140. Only two of those players will receive their World's invite based on a tiebreaker that (as far as I know) hasn't been communicated yet -Fun fact: The invite cutoff was 680 before NAIC as well -The world's Travel award looks a little cleaner, cutting off the Top22 in Europe at 1014 CP, with no ties -Before NAIC it was at 990, but only one spot actually changed, with two German players switching places, and the remaining CP increase being caused by players that were already in Top22, earning some CP at NAIC -With the invite cutoff being at 680, the minimum amount of regional level CP you had to get with maxed out local CP is 420, but it could've looked slightly different, because two of the five players tied at 680 didn't max out their local. If they did, the invite would be at 682 without any tiebreaker Shenanigans necessary -The lowest amount of local CP anyone in Top137 has is 160, and it's actually me 😂 at 555 major points -The highest amount of major CP that is missing out on Top137 (aside from @Gholdaddy, who has an auto invite) is 520 CP by Daniel Rinaldi, who ends the season with only 132 points from locals -In the current Top140, 64 players have completely maxed out their locals, 30 players were within 10 CP of maxing them out, and only 6 players have less than 200 CP from locals (@DemiPTCG , @Nofoume, @SanderWojcik, @limitless_robin, Simon Tschan and me) -If every player would've maxed their local CP we would've had a clean 138 cutoff (because of Ilya's auto invite) at 690, but that would've actually only been relevant for seven players (Daniel would've locked up his invite, Julius and Nerses would've been in without having to worry about the tiebreaker, Lewis, Gauthier and Finn would've lost their hopes at an invitation and Marijn would've been the only person that currently has a locked up invite, which would lose theirs) -I feel like, especially the last point, shows that locals maybe shouldn't be a part of the invite structure because players didn't benefit from them if they didn't perform at locals, and for many others, they just turned into a chore. It's also worth noting that without a set amount of CP to aim for from the beginning of the season, regional advantages have become significantly worse in a system that should put everyone on an even footing.
