If you are posting the Adjusted EPA / Play charts for college football this week on timeline, be sure to account for Mendoza running for a -40 yard play as a safety to end the game as a clock run out mechanism 😂 (-2.05 EPA play). Never quite seen that.

Indiana has given the Iowa offense way too much respect in the 1st half & subsequently has had a brutal game (largely on the play-calling) in short-yardage. 7 pass attempts for Mendoza. Can’t self-hold your Heisman candidate back.

@pos_josh It was 4th and inches, there was 0 reason for the playcall to be anything other than a QB sneak with the massive QB.

Indiana rolls the dice on 4th and less than a yard. Black is stuffed behind the line. These are plays that you need to make to beat Iowa. Indiana is not making those plays. That should have been a pass play. Iowa had 9 in the box. #iufb
