It’s colder, wetter and greyer now. I’m feeling a little under the weather but I’m doing join as you go crochet and it’s exactly what’s needed

Self care today is putting the pretty beads in pretty china so that I’m working surrounded by things that make me happy

Thanksgiving here is wine, tea, snacks and board gaming. Teens are snuggled in a bed watching movies. Awesome day!

lol just realized this whole photo is like a knitpicks advert! Pillow is bare cadena (wool and alpaca), crochet afghan is the always amazing palette which is being held double.

Socktober for me is about more than just socks. This is @KnitPicks felici yarn. It makes beautiful socks, but it also makes gorgeous and easy to knit neck warmer kerchiefs. All the pretty stripes none of the hard work in getting colours to work together or changing yarns.

#socktober continues to be going great this year. Yesterday started with gorgeous knitpicks yarn and ended with pumpkins and a heel turn. These are going to be too good to cover up socks. But perfect for lazy thanksgiving and Halloween around the house socks
