I'm concerned that our culture is moving away from emphasizing marriage and family as the basic unit of society. I with that the shift is undermining society and a lot of the best parts of our culture. So, I'm going to start sharing some of the small moments that I have that are the reasons that being a husband and father so awesome. I'll hope to do this most days. This morning, I was eating a bowl of honey nut Cheerios and my youngest, who is 3, came over, climbed up on my lap, and asked "Papa, will you share with me?" He happily snuggled into me, stole the rest of my cereal, drank all my milk, then turned around, grabbed my face and made sure I was looking at him and said "I love you" then hopped off, and went to watch cartoons with his siblings. Kids are the best.
