Hey friends, as you know, I left Apple six months ago to build enterprise AI agents. The more I looked at the space, the more obvious the gap became Companies are about to have AI agents doing real work Not just answering questions →Checking systems →Drafting emails →Updating records →Finding problems →Preparing decisions →Moving work forward That only works if agents are managed That is why @SomaOS is here

This works really well btw, at the end of your query ask your LLM to "structure your response as HTML", then view the generated file in your browser. I've also had some success asking the LLM to present its output as slideshows, etc. More generally, imo audio is the human-preferred input to AIs but vision (images/animations/video) is the preferred output from them. Around a ~third of our brains are a massively parallel processor dedicated to vision, it is the 10-lane superhighway of information into brain. As AI improves, I think we'll see a progression that takes advantage: 1) raw text (hard/effortful to read) 2) markdown (bold, italic, headings, tables, a bit easier on the eyes) <-- current default 3) HTML (still procedural with underlying code, but a lot more flexibility on the graphics, layout, even interactivity) <-- early but forming new good default ...4,5,6,... n) interactive neural videos/simulations Imo the extrapolation (though the technology doesn't exist just yet) ends in some kind of interactive videos generated directly by a diffusion neural net. Many open questions as to how exact/procedural "Software 1.0" artifacts (e.g. interactive simulations) may be woven together with neural artifacts (diffusion grids), but generally something in the direction of the recently viral x.com/zan2434/status… There are also improvements necessary and pending at the input. Audio nor text nor video alone are not enough, e.g. I feel a need to point/gesture to things on the screen, similar to all the things you would do with a person physically next to you and your computer screen. TLDR The input/output mind meld between humans and AIs is ongoing and there is a lot of work to do and significant progress to be made, way before jumping all the way into neuralink-esque BCIs and all that. For what's worth exploring at the current stage, hot tip try ask for HTML.

Consensus Miami was great After five years of observing the crypto space, it is still one of my favorite events to attend Great people as always and a strong reminder of where the industry is heading Back to Palo Alto now Big week ahead for @SomaOS_ and the team.

As we open the ecosystem around SomaOS, I wanted to share what comes next and reflect on our journey so far. We started building shortly after the release of OpenClaw because our team understood how pivotal this moment would become. The market was finally beginning to understand what agents could do, and what they could become. For those of us who have worked inside large companies, the opportunity felt obvious. Most businesses do not need AI to replace the whole organization overnight. They need systems that can reliably take work off people’s plates; handling repetitive coordination, keeping context moving between teams, following up on loose ends, and helping work get done without adding more overhead. That is where we saw the opening. SomaOS was built to bring agents into real company workflows in a way businesses can actually trust. The last 6 months have been about building the foundation. Our roadmap:

the world is undergoing a fundamental transition where apps are becoming agents & it’s well underway. this matters cuz the unit of distribution is changing. i.e. apps were how capabilities reached users.. neatly bundled with ui, brand, billing, & a discovery surface. if agents become the new distribution layer, everything downstream has to be rewired from discovery, trust, monetization, brand, to even what it means to “ship” a product. shifts to the atomic unit of distribution are rare in modern history which is exactly why this opens opportunity scopes at every layer of the stack, from silicon up through the interface.

I love this idea from @jasonfried "Your only competition is your costs." Keep costs low, keep the team small, make stuff you want to use. You don't need the whole world: “A business is very simple. You got to make more than you spend. If you're making more than you spend, then your competition is your cost. That's what you're really in business against, how much it costs you to stay in business. It's not all the other alternatives that are on the market. You can't control what they're going to put out there, what they're going to price it at, all the things they're going to do. They're going to do what they're going to do. What I can control is how much it costs me to run my business, how much I sell my product for, and as long as I make more than I spend, I get to stay in business. And isn't that what this is all about, staying in business? That's what it's all about because I like this. I want to keep doing this. I can't keep doing it if I don't stay in business. I can't keep doing it if I make less than it costs me to make the things that I make. So I'm always thinking about the only competition I really have on an annual basis is to make sure that we make more as a company than it costs us to run the company. That's my real competition.”

We built SomaOS from lessons and experience our team learned at Apple Powerful technology only matters when people can trust it in production AI agents are powerful, but companies will not let them touch real work until they can control what they do, approve key actions, and track every step For the last 6 months, we have been building that system. Next week, we open the network around it The SomaOS token launches next week

Busy day at Consensus, but wanted to drop a quick look at the @SomaOS_ workflow builder Soma lets teams build workflows for AI agents the same way they design internal processes Trigger → fetch context → rank → draft → approval gate → send → memory → audit record This is how AI agents become usable inside real operations

AI orchestration becomes valuable when it controls action. Reasoning alone does not move enterprise work forward.

Enterprise AI only works when agent authority is enforced at runtime. Access should be earned by the workflow, not granted because the model sounds useful.
