Must vent and cant keep bothering my one IT friend. I have a Gigabyte motherboard that I haven't updated since I got my pre-built in 2022 (oops) friend found the latest update for me on the Gigabyte website but it WOULD NOT boot from the usb. I shit you not, I had to install 13 updates in chronological order back from December 2022. Apparently Gigabyte is notoriously difficult - don't get a Gigabyte motherboard. Anyway, now i have no internet drivers so I have to tether my phone so I can access the internet and get the appropriate drivers. Today has been a pain in the dick
