The King's Regiment band competed at the UIL Area C marching contest in Longview on Saturday, December 5th. They came in third place.  Great job band!!!

Thursday, September 17th is no longer a half day but is now a full school day and Monday, September 28th is not a student holiday but will now be a regular school day for students and staff.

Summer Athletic workouts are suspended until July 14th.

You will be able to watch the KHS Class of 2020 Graduation Ceremony on the Kountze High School Facebook page tonight. The ceremony will begin at 8:00 PM. We will start the broadcast at approximately 7:45.

There are some "fake" posts circulating about Kountze ISD closing. If we decide to close it will be posted on ALL Facebook pages, Twitter, District and Campus websites and we will have a callout. So until you see all of that, don't believe what you might see on the Internet!!

The School Board Meeting that was scheduled for tonight has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
