One of the last images I took for my PhD thesis. It has been so much fun imaging LYVE1 (green) macrophages along collecting lymphatic vessels (magenta) for the last **redacted** years! Especially when they come in funky shapes like this one!

@TheBreakdownAB Well, if she is concerned about research funding, academics would welcome another funding agency they could apply to, and if it is Alberta specific, all the better. But that would mean she would need to spend money. Research isn't cheap. The UCP is. I won't hold my breath.

At our lab meeting today it was agreed that everyone in the lab is expected to take at least one full (continuous) week of time off, preferably traveling. Hopefully people will be taking longer vacations but one week is required. This also includes PI… (hope to live up to it 😬)

I’m thinking to introduce mandatory vacations @kipnislab for students and postdocs (staff does not miss vacations anyway 😂). Whether you want it or not, you have to be outside the lab for X number of days per year… better traveling somewhere to clean your head. Thoughts?
