This is Jeff, the “sometimes too positive” half of the Kraken Pod. We have now had several players leave the Seattle Kraken and find success on other teams. We’re constantly being shown that we are stocking up on draft picks and future talent. But what’s the long-term plan for capitalizing on that? Because it’s starting to seem to me that we don’t know how to develop players well.

Maybe not this year but with the right pieces playing with him along with more and more confidence, Matty Beniers has a 70 point season in him. On top of being a fantastic defensive forward Honestly, I think he is going through the Jordan Eberle school of leadership right now

@KrakenPod 8 more goals in what 19 games? Noway lol. He will get maybe 5 more goals at best. I’d be surprised if he gets to 20 to be honest. I was hoping this was going to be the year he broke out but just about mid season from him. This is just who he is at this point unfortunately
