An apology to the MK Community:
Right, I've been planning on doing this for a while, and with the tweet I did yesterday, I feel like now is the perfect time to finally do it.
I've been thinking of how to do it and instead of thinking too much, I'm just going to speak from the heart.
First of all, I recognise throughout my just over 3 years in this community, I have done some horrible things, the worst of it being when starting out, I already apologised for the bulk of that at the time it happened so I won't be covering it here, if you hate me for the shit I did in early 2023, I won't hold it against you, that's your own choice to make. I'm primarily going to be focusing on the things I have done more recently, mainly throughout 2025 as that is the things I feel most people whether that be from 8DX or people joining the community in MKWorld mostly judge me on.
I'm going to start off with my time in Constellation and Cat Cruisers since that is what I would say a majority of the people that know me from 8DX judge me on since that was their last impression of me before MKWorld.
To the people who were on Celestials and Galactic at the time I was leader of Cosmic, I apologise if I ever made you feel like you were inferior just because of your skill level. I recognise it must've been incredibly demotivating to be a part of a community where you felt like the manager saw you as a lesser person and player due to your skill level.
To the people who were on Cosmic, I'm sorry if it felt like I never gave you fair treatment if you weren't considered main lineup, I know it must've sucked feeling like putting in the effort to compete at the levels we were reaching were completely ignored.
I'm sorry for my public and private actions following my deserved kick and for burning all bridges, I take full accountability for all of that.
To the people who played the final MKU season with me on Cat Cruisers, I'm sorry for my public displays of discontent towards the rest of the team's performance in the tournaments. I should've focused more on helping you improve rather than crashing out over the mistakes a person would make or just not being able to compete at the level my presence forced you to play at, particularly the person who I posted a clip of me publically crashing out about on stream after, I can't remember their name so if you are reading this I am sorry.
To the people who I met on Endeavor in my early days of MKWorld, I'm sorry for being insufferable at times during wars, to the point where people wouldn't want to play with me in scrims. I am especially sorry for my actions when I got put on the bench for a SL match vs SAINSBURY's and I went and stupidly complained about it in the twitch chat of the opposition. It was incredibly immature of me to do that and even though I was frustrated, I should've just taken it to Will or Rey.
To the people on Blahaj Orchard and Excalibur, I'm sorry for my frustrations during tournament matches that I was publicly complaining about the fact that nobody was performing to the level I wanted them to. I recognise that I shouldn't expect people with far less time to invest and are therefore less skilled to be able to compete against teams that you wouldn't be getting put against if I wasn't there. I'm sorry for at times heavily contributing to a toxic atmosphere that made it horrible for both sides to be able to maximize our chances of succeeding in a competitive environment.
To the people who I go against in lounge that have found me insufferable to speak to due to my at times constant complaining about things that happen to me in between races, I am sorry. At the end of the day, it is just Mario Kart and whilst yes it can be frustrating the things that happen to me, especially when playing against people around or above my skill level, I should be keeping my complaints to myself and focusing on what I could've done better.
I'm actively making it my mission to get involved in less drama, whether that be on Twitter or Discord. My aim is to get better at controlling my emotions whether that be after a tournament match in 6v6, a lounge event or even just not overreacting to every little thing. I want to be a person who doesn't only reflect negativity and I want to get better at not being selfish and at times making everything about me because I know the majority of the time nobody gives a fuck.
I know that it isn't a quick fix, for some people I have over 2 years of wrongdoings to make up for before they can feel like I can be trusted again.
For some it may even be impossible to be trusted again by you and I completely understand.
I don't want to do this just for the sake of improving my reputation, yes it is a big incentive but I also want to do it so I don't feel constantly miserable, unapproachable and alone because whilst it doesn't show, I do at times struggle with my mental health.
This is not an excuse for anything I have done by the way, I'm just being honest about how my daily life in this community can sometimes have an impact on me.
I know people are sick of me venting on here, so if you're one of them, first of all thank you for reading this far, I know I've said a lot in this tweet today as well as yesterday, second of all, I promise I will do my best to ensure that I keep the venting to a minimum since lets be real nobody gives two fucks about what an almost 22 year old British guy thinks or feels about what happens to him on Mario Kart World.
I hope this apology can at least be the start of being able to earn the trust of people in this community again and helps begin the rebuilding of burnt bridges of the past.
