A public Discord profile picture caused YouTubers to receive copyright strikes. These strikes are being made through YouTube’s copyright system simply because this avatar is used as the cover for his podcast. The image is publicly available, and he is a public figure. In my case, it was shown for only a few seconds, as it is the same image he uses on his Discord profile. In the context of my video discussing the Skibidi Toilet situation, I referenced his publicly visible Discord status, which appeared to be mocking our movement, and also included screenshots of messages attributed to him, sourced from publicly circulating materials, to provide additional context and support the discussion. For the past six months, most of my videos have been in support of the creator of Skibidi Toilet. As many are aware, he lost control over his channel and, due to contractual restrictions, is unable to speak freely. At the same time, the company publicly shared his private messages without his consent, which raised serious concerns about narrative control. Because of this, we launched the #LetBoomSpeak initiative - a simple request asking the company to allow him to make at least one unrestricted public statement. However, it has now been 7 days with no response. Instead, for the past 4 days, strikes have continued. Some of them are issued in David’s name in videos where his avatar appears even briefly, while others are issued directly by Invisible Narratives LLC over the use of Skibidi Toilet footage in commentary videos. These strikes have affected multiple creators, including ZacDoor, Isotoilet, Super Cameraman, EliteBlueGuy, thedarkvoid, and Celanimation Theories. Mass strikes against creators who are supporting DafuqBoom and discussing this situation raise serious concerns about potential misuse of the copyright system. The use of Skibidi Toilet footage in these videos falls under fair use, as it is used for commentary, reporting, and analysis. @TeamYouTube I respectfully ask you to review these cases for potential abuse of the copyright system.

Dafuqboom, the creator of Skibidi Toilet, first changed his Twitter profile picture to a sad, serious expression; now he has posted this image to mark the third anniversary of Skibidi Toilet. Even before this, it had already been leaked—through conversations I had with him—how the company Invisible Narratives was treating him (badly, in many ways). It is painfully obvious that INVIZ silenced him; they do not allow him to work; they literally fired him and replaced him with another animator. It is deeply unfair to watch a man create a series only to be discarded and silenced in the end; it is disturbing that this can happen.
