AIBA Women’s WCH will take place in the city of Istanbul early December. Thanks to all authorities to support boxing. Gender equality is our goal, I am happy to confirm that prize money for the medalists will be exactly the same as for WCH in Belgrade, $2,4 million USD in total

AIBA Board of Directors has voted in a fundamental change to the sport by amending the weight classes for youth and elite athletes at all AIBA competitions. Men’s weight categories will increase from 10 to 13, whilst women’s will rise from 10 to 12.

Yesterday took part in the opening ceremony of the Russian Boxing Team Cup in Ekaterinburg and laid the foundation stone for a new Boxing Center. The boxing center should become a real gift for all citizens and future generation of great boxers.
