The drone strike on a Peshmerga family’s home in Erbil martyred a husband & wife, leaving their two young daughters orphaned. These crimes are an assault on humanity & a blatant attack on Kurdistan. The world must condemn it & stand in solidarity with the victims & our people.

I strongly condemn the heinous attacks by terrorist militias targeting the U.S. Consulate General and civilian areas in Erbil. These deliberate acts of aggression pose a grave threat to the security and stability of the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the wider region. This is unacceptable. I once again call unequivocally upon the federal government in Baghdad to take immediate, decisive, and tangible actions against these outlaw armed groups and militias. It is incumbent upon the federal government to use all means to thwart these terrorist attacks and bring those responsible to justice.

I am deeply saddened by the news of a drone attack on the residence of a Peshmerga family in Erbil, which resulted in the martyrdom of him and his wife. I condemn this heinous crime in the strongest terms and denounce its perpetrators. The targeting of civilians and civilian homes is a war crime. We will convey the voice of the victims to the international community to help end the oppression and the unjustified attacks against the people of the Kurdistan Region.

I condemn and denounce in the strongest terms the cowardly drone attack on the residence of @IKRPresident Nechirvan Barzani in Duhok. Once again, we call on the federal government to act on its responsibility, bring these outlaw criminals to justice, and curb the continued terrorist attacks carried out by these groups. I also call on the international community and our friends to support the Kurdistan Region in protecting its citizens and safeguarding the interests of the Kurdistan Region. We reserve every right to confront these terrorists, and we will take whatever steps are necessary to protect the Kurdistan Region.

Today at Erbil Citadel, in the presence of President Barzani, we lit the Newroz fire. Throughout history, the people of Kurdistan have stood against oppression and never bowed to tyrants. Happy Newroz and Kurdish New Year -mb.

ئەمڕۆ بە شکۆدارییەوە یادی پەنجا و شەش ساڵەی ڕێککەوتننامەی مێژووییی ١١ی ئازاری ١٩٧٠ دەکەینەوە. ئەم ڕێککەوتننامەیە کە بە ڕابەرایەتیی بارزانیی نەمر و شۆڕشی مەزنی ئەیلوول هاتە ئاراوە، گەورەترین دەستکەوتی سیاسی و یاسایی بوو. وەک یەکەم بەڵگەنامەی فەرمیی دانپێدانان بە مافەکانی گەلی کوردستان لە مێژووی هاوچەرخدا تۆمار کرا و بووه‌ بنه‌مای هه‌موو ده‌ستکه‌وته‌کانی دواتری هه‌رێمی کوردستان. لەم یادەدا، سەری ڕێز و نەوازش بۆ گیانی پاکی شەهیدان دادەنەوێنین و سڵاو بۆ تێکۆشەران و پێشمەرگە قارەمانەکان دەنێرین. ڕێککەوتننامەی ١١ی ئازار تەنها دەستکەوتێکی نەتەوەیی نەبوو، بەڵکوو نەخشەڕێگەیەکی دروست و نموونەیی بوو بۆ چەسپاندنی ئاشتی و پێکەوەژیان لە عێراقدا. مێژوو سەلماندی کە پاشگەزبوونەوەی دەسەڵاتدارانی ئەوسای عێراق لەو ڕێککەوتنە و پەنابردن بۆ لۆژیکی هێز لەجیاتی گفتوگۆ، عێراقى ڕووبەڕووی چەندین دەیە شەڕ، ماڵوێرانی، ناسەقامگیری و بەفیڕۆدانی سامانە مرۆیی و ماددییەکان کردەوە کە تا ئەمڕۆش باجی ئەو هەڵە مێژووییيانە دەدات. لە کاتێکدا ئەم یادە دەکەینەوە، ناوچەکەمان لەناو ئاڵۆزی و مەترسییەکانی پەرەسەندنی شەڕدایە. ئەم دۆخە ئاڵۆزه‌ پێمان دەڵێت کە پێویستە هەموو لایەک بە هەستیاری و به‌رپرسیاریه‌تییەوە مامەڵە بکەن و کێشەکان بە شێوەیەکی ئاشتییانە چارەسەر بکرێن و ڕێگە لە تەشەنەسەندنی زیاتری شەڕ و ئاڵۆزییەکان بگیرێت. لە عێراقيش پێویستە هەموومان پەند لە مێژوو وەربگرین و بزانین کە سەقامگیری بە یەکترقبووڵکردن و چەسپاندنی سیستمی فیدراڵی و دادپەروەری بەدی دێت. لەم یادەدا، جەخت لەسەر یەکڕیزی و تەباییی نێوان لایەنە کوردستانییەکان دەکەینەوە وەک تاکە گەرەنتی بۆ پاراستنی قەوارەی فیدراڵی و ده‌ستکه‌وت و مافە دەستوورییەکانمان. با پێکەوە کار بکەین بۆ ئەوەی کوردستان و عێراق لە مەترسییەکانی شەڕ دوور بخەینەوە و داهاتوويه‌كى گەشتر، ئاوەدانتر و پڕ لە ئاشتی بۆ نەوەکانمان بنیات بنێین. سڵاو لە یادی ١١ی ئازار. دروود بۆ گیانی پاکی شەهیدان.

The March 11 Agreement of 1970 was the historic outcome of the Great September Revolution, led by our national leader, Mustafa Barzani. We reaffirm our commitment to defending the rights of the people of Kurdistan and to safeguarding the Kurdistan Region’s constitutional status.

بەبۆنەی هەشتی مارس ڕۆژی جیهانیی ئافرەتان، پیرۆزبایی لە ئافرەتانی کوردستان و عێراق و جیهان دەکەم. پێزانینم بۆ ڕۆڵ و قوربانیدانی ئافرەتانی کوردستان هەیە کە هەمیشە بەشێکی سەرەکیی لە خەبات و کۆڵنەدانی گەلەکەمان بوونە و قورسایی شۆڕش و قوربانیدان لەسەر شانی ئەوان بووە. لەم بۆنەیەدا هیوای بەختەوەری و سەرفیرازی و سەرکەوتن بۆ هەموو ئافرەتانی کوردستان دەخوازم.

#17Dec2025 Siedemnastego grudnia obchodzony jest #Dzień #Flagi #Kurdyjskiej. Święto ustanowione zostało w #2004 roku przez #Parlament #Kurdystanu. W instytucjach, urzędach i domach w Regionie Kurdystanu wywieszane są dziś narodowe flagi.

I welcomed Wojciech Bożek, Head of Mission at the Embassy of #Poland to Iraq, accompanied by Maciej Zajdel, new Consul General in Kurdistan. We discussed current developments and regional dynamics, and agreed to unlock the full potential of our bilateral relationship.

The Kurdistani diaspora living in Europe can play a significant role in raising awareness about Kurdistan and advocate for the rights of the Kurdistani people. I hope they preserve their culture and national identity and serve as a bridge of reconnection with their homeland.

On the 37th anniversary of the Anfal genocide campaign in Badinan, we remember the victims of this brutal crime by the former Iraqi regime. The federal government must compensate their families. We honor the memory of martyrs of the Anfal genocide and all martyrs of Kurdistan.

The people of Kurdistan will never forget these atrocities. We must remember, Kurdistan has paid the ultimate sacrifice for its rights and its freedom, and we will never give up. I salute the martyrs of the Barzani Genocide and all the martyrs of Kurdistan.
