I got asked today by the 2nd in command of the local VFW to lead in the start of the 4th of July parade with my CJ2A. I will have a veteran in the passenger seat. My jeep is rough; it looks good from 20 feet away, but I see all the imperfections.

Last night’s weather was intense, keeping me awake until 5 AM to ensure our safety. Supercell storms raged across the area, spawning numerous funnel clouds that were hard to track—I lost count of the spin-ups. Thankfully, only a few touched down.
