We have made a mockery of ourselves in the world of cricket. Systems that don't respect players like Babar Azam should really not have players like him. No athlete can ever perform with an exhausted mindset, leg pulling, social media trials, and pressure to perform all the time. The decision to rest your premier players is taken at the start of the series, not in the middle. Had it been taken before, it would have benefitted the players and communicated a positive msg. Apparently, these four players don't need rest. It is the system that needs to reset its mindset. Very disappointed and sad to see Pakistan cricket going down the hill.

It's disappointing that a semi final between 2 top teams, wasn't won or lost purely on team skill, but due to the surface. The toss was obviously vital and what followed in the 2nd half of the game was another poor advert for a format specially designed for entertainment. Still take nothing away from the Indian win. They were excellent in exploiting what was before them.

No don’t need to explain. It’s no one else’s money. It’s not tax payers money or anything. But yes player / coaches / management everyone pays for their own family airfare tickets, hotel rooms, breakfast per person (if not included in hotel room), visas, any extras too

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa today requested the Speaker to arrange a meeting with International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman Greg Barclay during his scheduled visit to Sri Lanka. He told Parliament that the Speaker must invite the ICC Chairman to Parliament and facilitate a meeting with all 225 MPs to brief him about the current cricket crisis and the unanimous resolution passed by Parliament to remove the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) office bearers.
