After Arator's Journey making me crash out I decided to give this book another go. I read through it quickly when it first came out so I'm listening to it in audiobook form to soothe my mind baubles somewhat. First chapter definitely confirms Arator knows exactly what it means to be a paladin & he is given a lot more credibility to his lived experience. A stark constrast from how he appears in game. One thing I'll note about Christie Golden books is that I always appreciate the time she gives you with these characters & how even the most divisive characters are treated with nuance & charitablity. I really wish the Arator & Turalyon in this book were in game. 😭🙏🔥
