.@SouthwestAir further tightens battery rules. Starting 4/20, limited is 1 power bank (≤100Wh). Portable chargers no longer allowed in overhead bins. Must be stored in flyer’s under-seat carryon or on their person; Portable chargers not allowed to be re-charged w/in-seat power.

@krisvancleave @NASA Don't know why I need to know, tbh, but I'm curious: was this record set because the moon is farther from Earth on this mission than it was during Apollo 13, or because Artemis passed the moon at a greater distance from its surface than did Apollo 13?

.@nasa tells us the Artemis II crew has set the record for the farthest distance from Earth traveled by a human mission, surpassing the Apollo 13 record of 248,655 miles set in 1970. It happened at 1:57 p.m. ET.

Hansen named one after their spacecraft, Integrity, and the other after commander Reid Wiseman’s late wife, Carroll, who died of cancer in 2020. Hansen became emotional and the crewmembers could be seen wiping tears.
