@ue_man I first ask for what’s a Widget? Then depending on the depth or clarity of candidate on that. I switch to difficult or less difficult questions.

It is my same fix, but I closed all of my issues and PRs when I was banned from the flutter repo by a disgruntled team member for, I think, posting on Twitter about how he auto closed a PR I had filed around the same time to make engine CI easier. No one ever reached out to me, I just got banned around the same time as I opened this PR.

Oh, the Flutter text problem is even bigger than I thought. The scrollbars are also fubar. I think I know what's going on, but maybe I'll just close my PR and publish it to Flock since they aren't interested in PRs and I'm not interested in working with them anymore.

My Flutter branch vs Flutter master, stable, and beta releases from 3.27-3.29. Honestly, screw the Flutter team. They can fix it themselves. I'm tired of fighting uphill battles. I'll publish my own engine build shortly that doesn't have this problem if anyone wants their text editing and scrollbars to work.

Spent $400 running Flutter engine builds last night iterating on this Github action that replaces Google's Cocoon with Github runners so mortals can run it. Not a trivial amount of compute required to build all the configs. Almost there...
