A couple of years ago, I moderated a discussion at Leela in Chennai, organised by the Madras Management Association and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. After the session, someone came and told me, 'You did a good job... You are from Kerala?' I said yes. 'That heavy Mallu accent is evident. Maybe you can take care of that'. There were two Germans on the panel. I asked this gentleman whether he listened to them speaking. He said yes. 'Did they speak like the English or like the Germans?" He said Germans. 'Would you like to go tell them to 'fix' their accent?' I hope he got the point. I have always been commented on my 'heavy accent'. So what? I am an Indian, who was born, raised and schooled in Kerala, and I speak English, a foreign language which I learned while growing up, like an Indian and a Malayalee. That's absolutely fine.

Prannoy Roy was once the face of left-leaning media. He owned NDTV, and many leftist journalists used to follow him and treat him like a leader. Then his bad time came, and he had to sell NDTV. It’s raining opinion polls. Everyone is making different claims. In the beginning, most polls suggested the DMK was ahead. Now, the trend seems to be reversing. The CNN-News18 poll claims the AIADMK-NDA is ahead by almost 40 seats. The Dinamalar–Chanakya poll alludes to the same. Malaimurasu TV is hinting at a shocker for the DMK. Kya hawa badal gaya hai? We are not sure. But the DMK’s cockiness seems to have faded. They don’t quite know whom to attack now. Earlier, it was Delhi vs Tamil Nadu. Now, Edappadi K. Palaniswami is unleashing punchline after punchline at M. K. Stalin. Vijay is gaining ground too. What does the DMK do? Push for Stalin or run down the opposition? We think they may take the second bait. Let’s wait and watch.

A very great scam happening by @Milkbasketin nowadays This morning i was charged money for my milk order but i didn't receive the order. On messaging customer care , they said we have delivered at 7.08.19 , here is the cctv footage for the same time , a guy will come from milk basket , stand there , mark the order paid through location tagging but will not keep any order. They refunded after i shared video
