There is nothing that can happen in your professional life that will matter if your only child is unhealthy or unwell, physically or mentally.
No Michelin star meal tastes good when your Gtube fed child never had a real food.
No business class travel feels good when only travel your child can do is between home & hospitals!

@BiotechPort I hope your son is alright. With high deductible plans, many times not having insurance is better than having one as cash price is way lower than insurance billing rate. I get the feeling that insurance artificially inflates the price of services to justify high premiums.

Gonna whine about something. Just have to.
US is the greatest county in the world. I love living here.
However the healthcare system is so stupid, ineffective and ridiculous.
My son was transferred by ambulance from one hospital to another. Just a ride without any treatment inside the ambulance. Nothing.
Guess how much? Fking $6K for a 20min ride. I did not want to transfer him by ambulance but the hospital said it's the policy.
How the fk a 20 min ride cost like two trans Atlantic business flight tickets?
This whole healthcare/insurance system is just a huge ridiculous fraud.

@elonmusk @houndcl was suspended for fact-based criticism of science articles. Same tactic used to silence COVID critics pre-takeover. You bought X to END censorship like this. Please reinstate him to promote open dialogue! #FreeHoundCL

@AlecGaffney it makes no sense to run a large phase 3 trial proving statistical significance, backed by Phase 2 data and science and then run it again just to confirm. Delays products to market and makes them expensive.

In practice, they do this so often already that this almost isn’t a policy change — especially since they will still require two for some. But curious that they announced this after Pazdur’s departure from CDER.

French government can't afford to lose $ABVX to another county -- bidding is going to be fierce. Outside of Sanofi, French pharma mega market caps are low/few. Abivax may go to an international bidder, but the French will fight to keep them - they have strategic national interest laws that can make it difficult for outsiders (may lead to a protracted process):
The top French pharmaceutical companies by market cap are:
=> Sanofi: The dominant player with a market cap over €100 billion.
=> Ipsen: The second largest, with a market cap around €10-12 billion.
=> Virbac SA: A significant player, particularly in animal health, with a market cap around €3-3.5 billion.
=> Medincell: A growing company focused on long-acting injectable therapeutics, with a market cap near €1 billion.
