We loved having our future Bulldogs on campus for Admitted Students Day. A huge thank you to everyone who showed up to make the day so special, especially our faculty, staff, and students. To our Future Bulldogs, we had the best time and can't wait to see you again in August!

I joined Ashley Martinez ’26 in Sacramento for AICCU's Student Advocacy Day. Alongside students and leaders from independent colleges across California, we met with legislators and their staff to discuss shifting federal funding priorities that affect many student programs.

This week, the University of Redlands came together to honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I am so grateful to see our community reflect, engage, and imagine what’s possible as we carry forward his vision of justice, hope, and connection.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” — Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Today, we honor the life and legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His words remind us that justice is sustained through everyday choices. Act with intention.

As we head into the holidays, it feels like the perfect moment to say thank you to our incredible Bulldog community. Your kindness and commitment inspire me every day. Wishing you peace, joy, and a hopeful start to the year ahead.

I had the best time celebrating with our Bulldog community at the Redlands Holiday Parade. So many smiles, so much hometown cheer. Happy holidays, Bulldogs!

I was honored to be invited to speak at the Redlands Area Interfaith Council's annual interfaith Thanksgiving celebration. Thank you to the Council for bringing us together again this year and for the thoughtful ways you continue to build bridges of understanding and care.

Last night, our community gathered for Compline, a time-honored U of R tradition. This year’s service was especially meaningful as we honored Chaplain Emeritus John Walsh, whose compassion and wisdom have guided our campus for nearly three decades.

During Homecoming weekend, we celebrated 65 years of U of R's Salzburg Program, a transformative journey that has inspired more than 3,000 Bulldogs to explore and grow through global discovery. Here’s to generations past, present, and future who keep the Salzburg spirit alive!

I was honored to celebrate the Bulldog Bench Hall of Fame Class of 2025 – extraordinary athletes and leaders whose excellence and spirit define what it means to be a Bulldog.  Congrats to our inductees and to Bulldog Athletics, who continue to carry this proud tradition forward.

Homecoming 2025 was unforgettable! From reconnecting with old friends to celebrating our collective Bulldog pride, it was great to see our incredible community come together to make this weekend truly special.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the first-ever dual credit GIS course with Arroyo Valley High School and the San Bernardino City Unified School District! We can’t wait to see this partnership spark new passions, open new doors, and inspire future Bulldogs.

Yesterday, the Bulldog community celebrated Constitution Day by gathering in Hunsaker Plaza to read from the Constitution, a time-honored tradition led by Professors Renee Van Vechten and Art Svenson. Thank you, Art, for starting this tradition that brings our community together!
