My first ever grant was awarded! I’m so excited my literacy carts will soon be in each room so Ts have easy access to materials they may need for small group instruction. Thank you Ms. Tomlinson & @RosieSa2378 for helping me bounce ideas and revise and edit my grant.

A year ago at my 1st coach’s meeting, we were given a little succulent plant. A year later and a bigger pot, mine is thriving. Feels like how my first year as a coach went, I went from surviving to thriving! Thank you to all of you who helped me grow! #PISDLACHAT #JensenElem

NCA Session #4 is in the books! We chatted with our first year LAR CC’s about STAAR review structures, lower grade look fors, coaching obstacle reflections, and next steps for the end of the year. We love our time with these CC’s who are doing such a phenomenal job! @pisdesela

This book was finally on super sale! I know my district does a great job of incorporating these lessons into our tier 1 instruction, but I’m just so excited to finally own the book myself and dig even deeper into fluency. Move over Phonics, Fluency is my new obsession.

Yay!! My second proposal on “Discover the Why of English Phonics kinder-2nd” has been accepted at the TALE conference. Instead of a full hour session, I will have a more intimate setting of 2 roundtables with 25 minutes each. I’m so excited!! 🤩 #PISDMTSS #PISDLACHAT
