Detroit has a long history of being the Motor City, the birthplace of Motown and techno music, a civil rights hub, and a connector through the Great Lakes.

@IanKennedyCK There hasnt been a weekday takeover game in Hamilton, has there? A huge portion of the crowd that went to this years game were TO STH's..and it was a midday weekend. I wouldnt consider this a "new market" this early in the leagues growth.

Hamilton, Ontario has been rumoured as one of the frontrunners for PWHL expansion.
The market has been used as a pawn in NHL expansion negotiations in the past...it could again be the case for the PWHL, or could the city finally be getting a team?

@IanKennedyCK @Kpopggstan1 We had to expect them in Toronto. We've maxed out our available seats since day 1 basically, the only way to get more revenue from us is the ticket increase (+ merch of course). Mine went from $57 to $71 each.

@Kpopggstan1 Ticket prices are bound to increase. That said, I'm not sure every season ticket holding family will be ok with hundreds extra per season. My guess is people will choose to re-up. The product is good, the league is so much fun, and it's still a bargain vs. the NHL.

Do people want a sustainable league or not 😭😭 yeah it's greedy billionaires but guys it's still decently affordable. If EVERY season came with insane inflation like that I'd be worried but it's year 3 theyre still figuring our pricing
